What's the difference between a hotline and a warm line?
Hotlines are for crisis situations — when you or someone you care about is in immediate danger or emotional distress and needs urgent support. They are staffed 24/7 by trained crisis counselors.
Warm lines are for non-crisis support — times when you're feeling stressed, lonely, or just need someone to talk to. They're usually run by trained peers with lived experience and are meant to offer comfort and connection.
