Clinical Supervision for LMSWs

Are you an LMSW seeking clinical supervision that is both supportive and socially conscious? At Mindful Mental Health, I offer supervision designed to help you grow as a clinician, strengthen your skills, and navigate the complexities of clinical practice with confidence and integrity. My supervision style integrates evidence-based theories with liberation-based frameworks, providing a space where you can reflect deeply on your work, your professional development, and your role within larger systems. Together, we will build your clinical competence and your capacity to hold space for clients in an ethical and socially just way.

Individual and Group Supervision for LMSWs

Clinical supervision for LCSW licensure is available in both Illinois and Texas. For Illinois-based supervisees, all supervision sessions will be conducted virtually in accordance with state licensing requirements. For Texas residents, supervision is available virtually statewide, with the option for in-person sessions for those located within the Houston Loop area.

Supervision options are designed to meet different needs:

  • Individual Supervision: Weekday evenings, $100 per hour.
  • Group Supervision: Saturday mornings, bimonthly, $75 per hour.

If these fees are not accessible for you, please reach out. I am committed to finding ways to support emerging clinicians.

A Supervision Space Rooted in Reflection and Growth

Supervision is more than meeting licensure requirements. It is a collaborative process where we can explore:

  • Challenging cases and ethical questions
  • The development of your clinical skills and professional identity
  • The impact of systemic issues on both therapist and client
  • Your self-awareness as a practitioner working within diverse communities
  • Engage in difficult but necessary conversations about race, privilege, and oppression.

My Supervision Approach

I offer supervision that is:

  • Trauma-informed
  • Culturally responsive
  • Queer and trans affirming
  • Neurodivergent affirming
  • Social justice oriented
  • Drawn from both clinical theory and liberatory frameworks

This approach creates a space where you can grow not only as a clinician but also as a reflective, socially aware practitioner.
